A Calling of Grace

A Life Pledged to the Altar

Born in Wayanad, Kerala, the call to ecclesiastical service drew me early to study the scriptures and the sacred liturgical heritage of the Malankara Syriac Orthodox Church. Following ordination as a priest in 1994, and consecration as a Metropolitan in 2006, my path has been one of shepherding parishes, teaching theology, and archiving ancient West Syriac melodies.

Through collaboration with the Christian Musicological Society of India, this digital library stands as a testament to the beauty of our ancient liturgical heritage, making these sacred chants accessible for prayers and spiritual reflection.
